Birds Beek Roundup

I heard a rumor that Nimmy has one too but given the whole Nimrod Special Edition SJ fiasco, I'm starting to doubt that he really has any knives... Much less a Busse:p

"I gotta warn you SpearHead, once you send Skunker the pics. . . . don't be surprised if you see your knife on every milk carton that comes out of Idaho!!!!!"

don't worry spear, i'll find it for you:D :D

Skunk, I gotta tell you... my SH isn't afraid of violence:D She's seen action all over the world. Jumped into Thailand, tracked violent Cuban criminals, gutted bears... hell, she's even tasted some photojournalist blood.

Come heavy or stay home :p

i was looking for a used sh1 to use as my user when i found this one. it came with a nice brown leather sheath and should be just the ticket for beating!
i think the sh1 and the ztno are both great sized knives for carrying and their blade shapes are close to each other.

That's interesting. I wouldn't have thought of those two as similar. Idaho, would you mind doing a side -by-side pic of those two for comparison??? thanks! :D

Come on you slackers! There have to be more SH1 owners out there than just the 3 of us:confused: Or did the skunk buy everybody else out  Get with the program and post some pics of your weapons!:D Show some pride!

BTW, am I the only original SH owner here? There has to be someone else that bought one 9 or 10 years ago and still loves it...

Raden, who belongs to that Blade? Very nice.

This is probbly as close as I am ever going to get to one. They sure look good. I really like the one Raden posted. And Gundy, I'll be happy to give you your $75 bucks back if you will send me your knife. You don't need a beat up old thing like that  :D

Beautiful SH1's guys!  :D

Skunk, just to satisfy that growing hunger to use the BBSHII I'll trade you a user for that minty new shorty SHI;) :p

I'm just chiming in for a quick question. What all steels were used on the different Birds Beak Steel Heart 1 and 2? Was INFI used on any of the BB?

Side note: That would be cool if Jerry or someone else that knows the 'time line' could put together a chart of some sort for when what steels were used, as well as when the different blades were introduced/discontinued. Cmon, I know one of you nut cases..er..Collectors knows some INFI history. ;)

Now this would be an awesome addition to the collectors club newsletter! A timeline showing the history of models such as the infamous Steel Heart! Not a pure Busse historian, if somebody supplies me with the INFI, I mean INFO, I would gladly complete a pretty little database chart and GFX...

Nice idea!

 Sweet!!!

Skunk, you've gotta love the micarta variation!! They were so hand made then, and you can tell.
