Birgorkha Great Foxy Folly deals for 6/05/05

You lucky sharks! I was at the show then in transit for 10 hours. Next time I have to have a laptop with wireless broadband.

These will be true collectibles.

Everyone that Sharked one will be glad that they did! Mine is 21 9/16" long and 28 oz. It seems super light to me. Yet I tested it hard and beat it in fear that it would fail due to its seeming thinness and the deep fullers. Not a problem at all. It may be one of the best khuks I have ever gotten. Period.
Light, Fast, Agile, and cuts like a deamon. I hope everyone takes theirs out and tests them hard also. Then you will feel confident in just how awesome these khuks truly are! ;)
Congrats to all that sharked one. :D

How did you guys choose which one you wanted? I chose the one whose handle I liked best.

I just kept going "eeny meeny meiny mo" until I landed on one that hadn't been claimed yet. Took awhile before I stopped starting on the same one repeatedly.

Hey, "eeny meeny meiny mo" works! It has saved my butt on a couple of college math exams! (-:

That sounds remarkably similar to my "ABACAD" approach to multiple choice tests.

I've had the opinion for a while that the New Mexico symbol was a mark for the apprentices/helpers. The symbol reminds me of a table...many individuals supporting one central piece.

I believe that blades with that mark are the result of a particular kami's personal team in which the lead kami does the critical work while they do the time consuming stuff.

So a "Bura crescent moon" blade would be his work, while a "Bura crescent moon/New Mexico" would be a team effort.

If true...it might help to explain why their stuff has been getting better...the helpers are learning and gaining their own skills.

IMHO, there is nothing wrong if true...our current Masters were once part of a team themselves after all, and it grooms the next generation of Masters.

On top of all that, if our collective purchases can help support 5 times as many kami families, why not? It's just more good karma.
