Birthday giveaway!!

I will guess 78.

I love slipjoints with at least 2 blades so that I can use the different shape/size blades for different uses
I like small to med knives. Up to around 3 1/2 inch closed.

My favorite is jacks and pen.

No traditional pattern is better than another.
Except the stockman which is better than all.

Using my all guesses magazine I'll shoot 87, 117, 41 and 90, and I'd like to show 2 special knives for me, first is the knife I got recently from Jake, I carried it with me the last two weeks in ky trip to Japan. The second is Camillus rope knife that for a reason I can not explain just make it for me

I'll say 60 since I don't believe anyone has guessed that yet.

As far as slipjoints are concerned, they are about all I carry anymore. The maximum closed length for a pocketknife without a clip is about 3 1/2". Anything longer lays in the bottom of my pocket like I'm carrying around an ax handle. I have a preference for the pen knife and whittler configurations. Main blade a clip point with the secondary a wharny is my favorite combo (and a difficult combo to find at that). If a whittler I like a coping blade thrown in there too.

I really like equal end and swell end jacks in jigged bone around about 3"-3 1/2" or so. I always thought I'd like a White Owl, but then recently realized all of my knives are jacks. So, I guess I'm a jack guy! I love my eo imperial jack in brown jigged bone and especially my S&M Heritage series jack in ebony gifted to me recently. Surprisingly enough though, I don't like Barlows. Go figure.
 
I didn't see an 81 out there so that is my guess.

My favorite pattern is the conductor, uh I mean the congress... or the ever popular nut... who am I kidding, I like all of the smaller traditional knives. I like bigger ones also, just don't carry them often, office environments aren't conducive to large blades.

I don't own a slip joint but the ones I have seen that I like are the single blade bone and stag handle ones. They look pretty cool.

As best as I can tell, 76 blades on the board.
I'm a real fan of traditionals here with natural bone, or stag scales. 3 7/8 to 4" is my preferred length for an EDC.
 
Very cool contest.
I'll say 59.
Here's what I like in slipjoints:
- jigged bone handles, even moreso than wood
- stockmen
- single blade knives, either wharncliff or clip
- has to be a usable length; 3.5-4"
- deep rich handle colors, no neons
That about does it.

After several days of close counting, and the use of high tech photo enhancing the number is 147. Happy birthday, and my choice would be a barlow, just not fond of the color yellow.
