Bishwakarma Puja Special for 9/14-- Pix, Knives and beautiful offerings

That's absolutely not true ndog. I use em to hang my shoes on, that has to be worth something? Shoes last a long long time.
Oh. At first I also thought he meant you and was thinking 'that's weird' but since we all know each other it might be OK. Then I reread.
Im sure Ndoghouse meant the Kami and that he doesn't need legs to "kick us like soda cans" he'd use his Kuk instead.

I'm not sure what ndog meant, this morning I see it the other way. I'm not sure ndog knew what he meant.

Your correct we all know each other and for the most part we're friends (cept for Bookie, I love that man and I'm not ashamed to admit it, not in any mano mano way ya understand) so all is fair in love and legs. Actually I love lots of fellas here and Shavru too although she's rejected my advances more than once. I better go back in my closet and lock the door.

Right now my concern is my dang ears, seemed to have gone down hill even more. Couldn't hear good before but last week or so it's even worse. Hoping it's just a temporary thing, being deaf sucks badly.

So in summer or summary I hypothesis that ndog was speaking of the man in the picture. I have a khuk but I don't know how to use it, the man in the photo knows his business, I can feel it in my cells.

Exactly!

Looks like that Khuk has many miles on it. Sometimes its good to not be able to hear. Theres times my wife is just rambling on cause she just woke up and finished here coffee and I just got home from work and just finished a beer or something and I dont hear a dang thing. I have selective hearing:D I really should be deaf tho with all the Who and AC/DC concerts Ive been to.

DD on the UBE and talked Auntie into looking around the shop for a Magnum AK to see what all the hubbub was about. Scored one of those too. Now I can officially start my lot clearing service. Woohoo!

When I saw the size of the Magnum in zandersdad's post, I knew I had to have one. I think I'll conceal carry it in a horizontal cross draw sheath.

Nice score on the UBE. Can't seem to get it out of my mind.

As for the magnum AK It is even more impressive in person. She sent me an email saying that someone had bought the other one she had, and that Kumar was going to start working on a couple more. I am hoping to be able to do some chopping with mine this coming weekend. I will add some pics to the other thread when I do.

WARNING: For any criminals

anyone who thinks bawanna doesn't really know how to use it & won't hear them sneakin' up to attempt anything untoward with bawanna best have good medical insurance and expect a long recovery in hospital with physical therapy to learn how to operated without a few body parts. he might also be merciful and just poke a few holes in you with a .45acp. he might enjoy toying with you for a bit tho if he's slightly bored. if he's mad he may take off his bawanna suit and reveal his inner grizzly panda. you do not want to see him if he gets mad. it will be the last thing you see.

This is how reputations are born.

Thank you. I'm already starting to feel bad to the bone!

Lol. I think your reputation is earned. I wouldn't mess with you even for fun.
I remember you posting about upgrading your combat vehicle with diamond steel armor plates.
I'm sure there are a few things you didn't mention like those two built in assault rifles on both sides for when the potty really hits the fan. Not that they are needed against run of the mill everyday criminals of course. Also handy against the moat monsters some of us have.

my moat monsters love him, he tosses them little treats when he visits them and skritches them behind the ears. the 'treats' are usually the aforementioned severed bits from those foolish enough to rile him.

That's just moat monster love on my part. Same as a good dog, just gotta be a might careful in the ear skritching.

From what I heard, Chuck Norris wears Bawanna pajamas.

I can neither confirm nor deny that possibility. Lawyers don't cha know?

I can say that I taught him most of his moves.

I've also been accused of providing lines for Clint Eastwood. Not positive on that one.

Yall ever notice Bawanna's little red button at the bottom of one of those diamond plates? The red button gives him five seconds to eject... then...well...! It goes something like this.

Hey all, I got the 9 1/4 inch 10 ounce Kerambit by Ram Lal Kami. Neem wood handle. in the mail this morning, I love the knife, but would like some opinions on making the finger hole a little bigger. My limited understanding of these is that the index finger goes through the hole. The hole is only big enough to go over my first knuckle, and I am pretty sure it is intended to go up farther (similar to how a ring sits). is it advisable to use a Dremel tool to ream this out, ar is there another way the would be better? My main goal is to be able to use the knife as it was designed, but I do not want to do something stupid to a work of art like this either.

If you look at the picture above the hole is slightly offset, in order to open it up to where I need it, I would have to ream it out so that the edge of the hole is approx even all the way around.

any thoughts would be appreciated!

I used a Drexel with a drum sander and worked carefully. It came out great. Mine was offset as well. However, I did not attempt to change that as there was plenty of stock to work with for the desired results. The offset doesn't bother me. Not sure if this helps or just sharing the experience.

I used a metal file on mine. Dremel with a sander or probably a stone would be better.

BUT work slowly so you don't get it too hot or you will melt the Laha. In this case there's nothing to contain it like say a rat tail tang. Where it would just resettle and get hard again.

Grind a little, and feel it. When it gets warm put in water or let it cool. A good file cuts good and is slower to heat things up.

Thanks for the tips, I never thought of the heat. I am fine with the offset, but by the time I get it big enough for my finger, I think it will end up centered. I really don't want to make it any thinner than it is on the thin side. I am hoping to give it a go this weekend
