Hey all, I got the 9 1/4 inch 10 ounce Kerambit by Ram Lal Kami. Neem wood handle. in the mail this morning, I love the knife, but would like some opinions on making the finger hole a little bigger. My limited understanding of these is that the index finger goes through the hole. The hole is only big enough to go over my first knuckle, and I am pretty sure it is intended to go up farther (similar to how a ring sits). is it advisable to use a Dremel tool to ream this out, ar is there another way the would be better? My main goal is to be able to use the knife as it was designed, but I do not want to do something stupid to a work of art like this either.
If you look at the picture above the hole is slightly offset, in order to open it up to where I need it, I would have to ream it out so that the edge of the hole is approx even all the way around.
any thoughts would be appreciated!
