Bishwakarma Puja Special

Hope you get it cul. Those Hmongs are so sweet! Love mine!
I had several chances to get one, there was one even at Auntie's house on one of my visits when she first got them, but I was rather toothless back then, and I had other blades that I wanted more. Now that I've got everything I have ever really wanted, many more than one...lol, now I can get the ones that I've passed on previously (which aren't many though). If I get this one, I'll be quite happy, because I've always regretted not getting one when they were available.

They are really nice. I still recall holding Yangdu's genuine Hmong. She wouldn't part with it and I don't blame her one bit.
I really love my HI version, I'll never part with it.

Ems send 18.5 inch 28 ounce Dui and adha (2.5) chiraa with satisal wood handle. Unique one for your collection at $135.
Maybe not to late

I just got that word for you too. I'll send you mine to hold you over until the kami's make more.
Yangdu doesn't have anymore right now.

No need Mr. B., appreciate the offer, but I can wait.

I asked auntie to save me one, when they come in.

If I hadn't already dropped $200 on my M-43 last week, and got that 17oz AK up top (and jumped soon enough) I would have gone for these two:
  • 18.5 inch 28 ounce Dui and adha (2.5) chiraa with satisal wood handle. Unique one for your collection at $135.
  • 19 inch 22 ounce Dui Chirra with satisl wood handle. Missing sheath, Karda and Chakma. Lonely Knife at $65
That top one is pretty unique, and has some very neat looking angles, and that Dui Chirra is really close to the 1inch/1oz ratio that I hear so much about for general purpose blades. I'm fairly new to handling Khuks in particular, but from my experience handling and carrying other blades, I know that I don't like real heavy tools unless it's got a very specific purpose (axe, sledgehammer, shovel, etc.). I do plan on using all the blades that I may get at some point, generally for camping. I guess I'll just have to wait for the next DD post, and hope for some more neat ones! Congrats to the follows who got these beauts!

Yeah, I figured that would be one of the first to go, and it was right in my price range, so I jumped lol. I'm glad you got basically the same one, though. It's even by the same Khami.

I picked up a 18 inch 31 ounce AK a few days ago and love it. I was seriously considering getting one of those 15 inchers as well so I have a smaller and lighter option, but I'm pretty much set on a BAS of that size and weight at this point. Variety and all that. Anyway, since it ended up being your first HI I'm glad I didn't jump on it.

Thanks gents. Nice crowd here, glad I dropped in! Perhaps I will stick around.

I was eyeing that one too, tbh. It's got a really neat look to it. Glad you got it before I had a chance to change my mind! ;)
We must have similar taste because that is another one I almost went for. The handle looks like it would make for an excellent and comfortable chopper.
