Bitches are the best

I had to put down a lab for cancer a few years ago. Took her for a last walk around the neighborhood and cried like a baby.

I know she was miserable and we did the right thing for her. But that doesn't make it any easier.
 
I showed Makwa frist cuz before him there was Rutger Dam I loved that dog. he almost made it to three. these pics were taken one week before he started having seasurs.turned out to be a brain tumor,we had to put him down.that was painful.but three months later the wife and I got Makwa.

Thanks,Rutger here was such a smart boy. he had such a keen nose.
he was more layed back.
Makwa has drive lot's of it,were trainning him for protection.

even though two driffent dogs so much alike.

I have a white GSD pup here that I want to start training for protection. He's a sweetheart of a pup, but he's got the definite drive to hold his own. He has no problems taking on our other dog whose currently 2-3 times his size. :)

Please be careful of letting your pup around bigger dogs It can take just one dog to punk him out.you need to make sure all work you do with him is to build his confidence.
also I would'nt let to many people outside your family pet him.so he dosen't see all people as play mates. But thats just me.

I hear ya bro. Our old Malinois is a great pooch but our GSD is my sweetheart. Both of ours are police rejects. The Mal bit too much and the GSD didn't bite enough. To be honest I'm still not over losing my last GSD and that was years ago.

Replacing a half black lab half German shepherd bitch who had to be euthanized this summer for hip problems is this quarter lab, quarter malamute, quarter pit bull, and quarter Rottweiler.

Her name is Penny an she is a feisty sweetheart.
