Bitten by a RAT Pic Thread-semi graphic

Who knew those cute little things could be SO nasty!

Undoubtedly many branches of wood:cool:

dude nice cut, if you are going to do it, do it right. By the way good stitches. 10 -14 days and you are good to go. Keep some neosporin on it (sorry doctor talking in me)

Whatever has become of our tattoo offer. I haven't kept up with that thread. I know we have one that has part of the art finished.

Got the artwork figured out just waiting for my tat guy to come over and gun it. I am looking at tomorrow or wed and it will be done.,,,Drew

Nice one. That is gonna hurt like hell the next couple of days. The really clean, deep slices never hurt when you do it, but only start throbbing about a day later.

Good luck with that and heal fast brother!

That's a nasty cut!:( Hope you heal up quickly!

Just a reminder... A very common way to get cut with a knife is to try and grab it if it is dropped.

We always need to be aware of what that cutting edge can do. Thanks for the reminder!

i got bitten by a juvenile rat once, through and through on the pad of my right index finger:eek:. thing was trying to bite my okeetee corn snake, so i had to pull its head away, and it got me. wish i had a pic. now, i stun them with a blowgun before feeding time. live and learn, i guess:o. rat bites suck.

Now that is a serious RAT bite and a bad place to have one at that. About a month ago a was cutting veggies with my RC-4 and I heard my 3 year old and 5 year old scream at the same time (serious scream) so I dropped the RC-4 and quickly turned to see what was going on. As I turned my left thumb hit the point of the blade and it went in about a 1/4". I feel for you because it hurt like heck every time I bumped it and it was nothing compared to your thumb

That sucks! The thumb makes it even worse. I hate those cuts the most cause then it hurts to play with the folding knives:D

I took the pad of my index finger clean off a few years back doing exactly the same thing with my TAK. It just takes one moment not thinking and a knife will bite you. Looks like it was painful after the adrenaline left you. The small ones are often more painful than the big ones.

Well at least you were doing something useful when you cut yourself..... a few months back I broke the scales on my TAK, and posted to see if anyone had spares to sell. Jeff ended up sending me one of his Prototype TAKs in green that never was sold. When I got it, I was so excited, I sliced my first and second finger wide open just taking it out of the packaging.... no stitches (I hate doctors) butterflies and ducttape for a week. Good as new... hope you heal up fast Suicide :)

I wonder how many of these are going to end up being self inflicted.

I wonder that myself, Munky. Someone from here will probably try it. We have plenty of nutty people in here! But, hey, do it and claim your prize!!!
