Bizarre Foods: Survival Episode

Very cool. He's definitely a guy who would never go hungry. He eats things that the natives don't even eat on his shows.:D

Myke Hawke advised Andrew on how to survive in the jungle, should be interesting.

worked on the Out of Alaska Show to! The first women they picked up, he jumped out of the helo to get her.

That spot looks like the perfect place to "survive." Lots of food, great weather (except for hurricane season) and lots of materials to make shelter and stuff with.

That guy eats a lot of crazy stuff. I hate how he describes some of the stuff. It's too vivid for me. Also those sea creatures that look like giant pill bugs are crazy.

I like to watch his regular show "Bizzare Foods". This one should be fun to see. The Travel Channel has some cool shows.

Yeah but the shows I like all make me want grilled meats. I have an ever expanding waste line from that channel.:D

Myke Hawke?! This guy is entertaining to watch! I'm not kidding, his jungle survival show for discovery was pretty cool and entertaining. Best ever was him advising Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie on E.

I watch too much T.V. Andrew Zimmerman is one of my favorite on air personalities.

Good for him. I've only seen a couple of his shows but they were pretty amusing.

Anthony Bourdain is another one I like sometimes. The one were he visited Ted Nugent's ranch was a hoot.

"An orgy of vegetables." Only Ted Nugent could make eating vegies sound illicit!

I have scandalized a few gentler souls by inserting Nugent's "kill it and grill it" dictum into a couple of conversations.

Indeed. I find his schtick way-over-the-top, but I can't really blame him for it because I think he just really is that blinkin' loony. I'd love to be invited to one of his BBQ's though. :)

I've been watching this while doing other stuff. Seems like a pretty good episode. I really like Hawke; I'd rather watch him more than any other survivalist on TV, but it seemed like it took him an awful long time to build that fire at the beginning. He was persistent though, which is what counts. Andrew had an excellent attitude about it all.

Just proves how difficult starting a fire can be ... even for an expert.
The shit eatting grin on Andrew's face when he finally got a fire going was priceless.
