Probably not, but does any one know how they do it and where on the blade? Laser? Mechanical etching?

I'm pretty sure that's factory writing not the additional KW personalization stuff.
 
I think, in this case, pre-ordering is simply a convenience. The last batch was around for awhile...unless they're thinking about doing a smaller order. Ultimately, it's your call...but I'm gambling that I'm right. (Just sent $$$ off for a different piece; so another Ritter Perseverance (BK12) is on hold for a while)
 
Yeah, I just sent a list of questions and ended up with one in my cart :D
Can't place the order til Friday though.
My user should arrive tomorrow, with that and the payday delay, maybe my itchy finger will calm down heh.
I know what'll happen...just like now...
I snagged a used one then the next day it opens to preorders.
I pull the trigger then all the sudden the RBK is released.
Maybe I'll just do it to speed along the RBK release lol.
Yeah, my power in this universe is that strong. ESP when it comes to negative irony...
 
Ive shot of an email to see if they will ship and accept a preorder to Australia, fingers crossed.
 
haha of course pre order opens up the day after I spend all my money on a bk5 and another bk16… well ill just have to start saving my pennies again...

Gas, yeah mate they ship to Aus I read pretty thoroughly all the international shipping stuff. Well I sure as buggery HOPE they do cos they have a pile of my money now. Nuh, I'm certain. For once though Mrs. Nutcase actually stopped me when I was about to order 3 of them.

It is mate, only problem im having is entering the state I live in. Even when you select Oz, it still wants US States. Hopefully they will get back to me. I'll give them 2 days then just risk it and preorder, with Alabama!

I didn't seem to have any trouble. I selected the country then just put QLD in the 'state' box. There was no drop box to select from, I just entered text. I actually had trouble with email address part. Wouldn't accept my address as valid. Had to use the knifey wifeys. It all processed ok (well it said it did) so I'm guessing that it was successful. IIRC the box for 'state' actually isn't a mandatory field. As long as you have your postcode. I still entered it anyway though.

I did tell her that you were a stand up guy and tried to tell her that I'm an even more standing up guy for wanting to buy my friend a gift. Sorry bud, didn't fly.
 
Yep thanks springy, didn't relize I could delete and type. All sorted all paid for, I opted for engraving, again thanks to my lovely wife! :D

springy just read your post, me and the missus are Pissin ourselves laughing - that's gold!
 
Sick ones mate. Glad you figured it out. Gassy needs a 12 Mrs. Gassy! Mrs. Nutcase doesn't think I need 3 though. This is a travesty.. In other news, one of my dogs just farted right under her nose. Karma..

Ha I that's what I was thinking, 1 for this round. Still I'm more than happy with that, this has been the blade that ha been eluding me. Not long now though!

Did you get engraving? I got my first and middle initial and my surname.
 
Yeah I shouldn't be greedy should I mate. I'm the same, I've been keen on this thing since I heard of it. Looks so cool. I love how you can change the balance point by adding or removing the little brass plugs under the scales.

No, didn't get it engraved, didn't really know what to get put on it. My name was a contender, then again so was ArseNuts. Can always make a cool little stencil after I've stripped it and do some electro etching though.

Stoked you're getting one as well dude..

Yeah, I didn't really need to spend a shart load of cash either (damn you exchange rate, damn it all to hell!) but the 12 is like my white whale. Well, my bum is like my white whale and the 12 is like.. um.. something. Ahh whatever. Good to see you again Knifeguy. Now never leave us again!
