• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

BK Style Renderings

I'm not a fan of Tantos either but that BK Tanto is a must have!!!!
That's the way I look at it too. Not a fan, but there are many who are. I purposely made the blade upswept. I don't like the straight bladed tantos too much.

Geez, i can almost feel the money leaving my wallet already :D
Haha, it's being made by an individual, not KA-BAR. :D

BK2+!!!

Thanks Warrior, they look great.
Thanks, very much appreciated.

Nice looking pics you whipped up there Dubz! Don't really see anything there to give you a hard time about, so I suppose you get a pass... this time... ;)

Haha, thanks. Have a few more made up, and several ideas for more. Just takes the time to do them. Crap, gotta go to work...

They all look awesome.
May I suggest a minimalist design from BK&T. Sort of like the ColdSteel Finn Bear with the becker attitude.

I was just about to ask you to whip up a straight edged one...

Did a couple cardboard cutouts of a 20" machax and a BK16 with bottle opener.

The machax needs a bit more body in the thinnest part; I had an issue cutting it out of my cardboard and lost a bit on that curve, since the BK11 wanted to cut more of a curve there than I wanted it to.

If Ethan doesn't mind, I'm probably going to make these (not for sale, or anything, just for fun and to have something to tide me over til I can buy the real stuff).

If you can fix that belly, shorten the swedge some and gimme a thumb ramp sign me up for one too. And the extended skull cracker

Where would you put a thumb ramp? From handling this cutout, the only thing I think would work is a thumb detent. A full on ramp seems like it would be uncomfortable.

Guys, I may get around to doing a larger machax, etc. But for now, I have a lot of ideas I need to release out of my head, haha.

Can you make a hookless BK3?
I actually did some time ago: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/833133-BK3-Design-Mod

Here are the renderings. Normal:

I may. I was going to do a tweener version as well.

Bk2+BK9,that would be something if it were made of .25" stock!
I think it would be better at .188. .25 would be a heavy mother.

You are a wiz with this sort of stuff but the BK2+ is by FAR my favorite Beckerlike fantasy design I've ever seen you or anyone else do. I think I'd be willing to trade my actual BK2 for one.

That one seems to be popular for many.
