BK10. The Ugly Duckling or the Young Prince?

Every time I read a new thread about a great Becker knife I run to my box of Beckers dig it out and say to myself...My What a wonderful knife what was I thinking I'm going to carry this one forever!!!! Next new thread, My what a wonderful knife What was I thinking I'm going to carry this one forever!!!! Repeat. The joy of Beckers :thumbsup::thumbsup:

The biggest problem with beckers... they are all great! I would be surprised if someone who liked knives had one and only one in their collection.

BK10 can take a wicked scandi like edge, but has enough meat to be useful for a variety of things, including cooking and spread PB&J :D

the LE edition with all the bell's and whistle's - i'd like to think that some conversations with KaBar at the time, John and Toooj and Joe resulted in some hilarity - putting something loose and metal IN the handles, would likely get some attention. the whistle is a special bonus. great knife edtion.

there was even a special evil contest - if people KEPT their knives, and didn't flip them, you could enter, and play :D i figured that was a kind of reward for the faithful in a way.
 
Thought about getting one as a light weight replacement for my long gone 2. I probably will one day. Right now I still have steel from a year or two ago that hasn't been used. Lots of toys, little time.
