Bk10s Available!

Just processed a couple of pieces from today's trip. I like the new coating on the knife. It is gritty and tough. I batoned the fatwood with my 10 and there is not a nick or chip anywhere on the blade. I don't think I will strip this one for a while. I like it black...

I've used It for about 3 hours. Carved a spoon, Batoned through some douglas fir, Pine & some aromatic cedar. Sharpened it 3 different times on my KME just to get it the way I want it and made a few feather sticks and shavings. I've left it stock except putting some blue loctite on the threads of the screws. I really like the new sheath, It's got very good dual retention and the plastic liner is pretty thick, I like it and I say that from the standpoint of a guy who does have an AZ Welke custom kydex & Spec Ops Combat sheath for it. I also have a set of KaBar micarta for it. I'm gonna keep it stock for awhile and use only this knife or my edc BK14 for a few months.
So far I'm very happy with it and I'll go so far as to say it's my 2nd favorite Becker Behind only the BK16.
This is not my first BK10, I had 3 Camillus versions and 3 BK10LE's at one time and I reduced it down to 1 Camillus and 1 BK10LE plus this new one which I feel is an excellent field knife.

Good to hear from you! I got a D2 blade from Big Chris and really like it. So the D2 Esky seemed like a good idea!

I have been using mine a bit. So far I really like the TKK scales and the knife as a whole.

I've been eyeballin those tkc scales for mine as well. They're a bit pricey but they just look so darn good and i've heard nothing but good things about them.

I was on the fence about them but I think they are worth it. I still love the Ka-bar micarta but I dont think you will be dissapointed in the TKK G10
