BK10's Still Available

sadly, supply is greater than the demand in this case...i wish the price would then go back down to $100 (but still only for beckerheads - make the requirements stricter for the remaining bk-10s perhaps?).

i have a buddy who wants one and will use it hard but not at $150...$100, yes (with the added convincing from me that it is indeed better than the bk-2 he bought from me months ago) since it's in-line with the rest of the beckers with micarta. he's not a collector and honestly, any of the other current production beckers will do the same task equally so i can see why he won't pony up the extra $50. i hate to see bk-10's being flipped for profit whereas there are others out there that will honestly do it justice and use it and appreciate it but just can't justify the extra cost...more beckers in the hands of real deal users is better in the long run imho.

Agreed, it's not for a want of the knife, it's for the price tag associated with it.

well, perhaps if people are balking at the $150 price, KaBar can strip out the bells and whistles, well, the micarta, and sell them at $125 or something?

that would move them faster i expect.

not everyone wants the micarta i would guess, or is willing to pay for it.

or they just just hang onto the few remaining, for those that wants them.

we'll see.

me? i'm over that ;) i want to see me some tweeners. sheaths. machaxes. oh yeah.

Just to play devils advocate.... (heh heh). What is it about the BK10 (apart from its collectability) that one would choose it over a BK2 at less than half the cost? Help this newb understand please.....

EDIT: Please ignore this post. The Newb didn't see this thread a bit further down the forum.

I'm happy to have one or three. I think in time folks will be trying to track these down. i for one see no problem with a guy trying to make some money, profit off of these.

There are just a few left. I ordered another earlier in the week and they said they were about gone. Better order quick! ;)
Whatcha do'in with em POPO? I just have one and it's a user, Im having a nice high and tight leather sheath being made for it right now. I love my BK2 for camp type whacken and a hacken, but for more normal knife work I love the 10.

Well my dumbass regretably sold my first one. This one I plan on keeping for good. ;)

Who's making your sheath? My needs a sheath exactly as you describe.
