That B13 looks cool. Where can I get one?
For now, you can only get them by buying a BK7 or BK9 (they ride in the pouch on the sheath).
I started this thread because I'm curios how many BK11 owners like the bottle opener.
I personally think the knife would be better without it.
What is the consensus here on the opener?
I did a conceptual image showing what the knife would look like without the opener. I also expanded the rear cutout in the handle.

I don't like the bottle opener. I keep cutting my hand whenever I try to use it.![]()
(It's a joke!)
Personally, I've never used the bottle opener because I've never been in the same room with the Necker and a bottle at the same time. But I could see how 555 would make use of it if I would send it to 555 lived somewhere that was tolerant of 555 EDCing fixed blades.
Or Sending it to a state where they have an Open Carry for Bottle Openers.
Ya Know, I think PA is the only state that has, Open Carry for Bottle Openers with a knife on the end of the opener.![]()
Yes, but if I sent it to you without appropriate payment remitted to me, then what would I do for a bottle opener? Because you KNOW I'd want to be drinking -- a lot -- if I actually did that.
On the upside, my hand would heal ....![]()
