BK11 bottle opener

Thanks Bushman. The BK13 is a fair bit smaller than I had expected, so not quite what I think folks are looking for here.
Either way, I'm buying me some twine next time I hit the store; that is an amazing looking wrap. :thumbup:
 
I agree, the jute twine is a great idea on the BK13. Good tinder and strong enough for a lot of cordage tasks. I am going to have to do that to my 13's.

I did a conceptual image showing what the knife would look like without the opener. I also expanded the rear cutout in the handle.

BTW You could just Weld the end of yours shut or do you have a friend with a Band Saw or Grinder. :D
 
I don't like the bottle opener. I keep cutting my hand whenever I try to use it. :D :D

Personally, I've never used the bottle opener because I've never been in the same room with the Necker and a bottle at the same time. But I could see how I would make use of it if I lived somewhere that was tolerant of me EDCing fixed blades.

Ya Know, I think PA is the only state that has, Open Carry for Bottle Openers with a knife on the end of the opener.:D

Yes, but if I sent it to you without appropriate payment remitted to me, then what would I do for a bottle opener? Because you KNOW I'd want to be drinking -- a lot -- if I actually did that. :D

On the upside, my hand would heal .... :D :D

I've got that covered.

After I see your/my REAL, Becker Necker in the Mail (Not Mr. Brown:D) I will send you this Hi-Tech bottle opener, a design I have been working on in the shop. With my Duct Tape mod, your hand will be safe from the sharp point on the other end.:D

Note to the OP and MR Becker, I'm a big fan of Becker Necker's and this is only part of a long running joke that I have with Bulgron, with no disrespect to the OP or Mr Becker intended. :)
 
I love the bottle opener on the BK11. Good beer only comes in bottles with pry off caps, and a church key isn't always handy. The wire breaker/bottle opener doesn't interfere with normal cutting tasks, so I'm glad the 11 comes with the freebie feature. Kudos to Ethan.
 
Yes it is great to have if you drink Beck's or Corona Beer. It aint in the way so why not. Nuff Said!
