BK2 LandShark

Aye. You had a pic of the jimping (that is some sick jimping BTW) on page 2 that links back to it. Follow the bread crumbs and you end up here:

Starting on it looks like page 42 is your Landshark doing some work on some ridiculous looking fatwood. I say ridiculous because it looks like it is resin with a bit of wood in it, not the other way around.

DUDE! awesome, i completely forgot about that account!

just logged on and wow, lots of landshark pics!

Yeah, I was pretty impressed by what I saw. Some different mods you have there Bushman, really unique in what I have seen. If I had a little more money to spend I can tell you I would be getting another BK2 and doing a little file work inspired by this beast of a knife you have.

Have to ask, do you still use the heck out of it with all those different mods done to it? More? Either way, you really did something awesome there man. Glad you put it back up in all it's glory.

how'd you get the checkering into the handles? A nail? Is it comfortable in the hand, cause I'm thinking about trying that out!

I used a dremel and a tiny carbide burr bit. tough, lift, move, touch lift move.

wear a respirator, th dust is killer on the lungs....

I want to see the BK-2 Landshark take on the BK-8 in a caged death match. :p

a $10 soldering iron kit with a couple heads can put a lot of patterns in any plastic. I've done it with knife scales, handgun frames, etc. And like bushman said, a dremmel works well too. Best to practice on something else before jumping into something you like. Either one you'll want a well ventilated area for fumes from burning or particles from cutting/grinding.
