At one time I like Schrade designs, they look cool and were not bad knives. I have about 6 of the old Uncle Henry's left that are favorites. Once Taylor took over the company name and started subing cheap stuff and using the Schrade name the quality, fit, finnish, walk and talk, etc. of the blades went down hill fast. I wanted to retire my good Schrade blades and bought a couple of the name sake knives from China. They are bad...Really bad. I just can't see myself owning another "Schrade" knife from this point forward. There is just no way I would trust one to do what needed to be done. Sorry.

Yeah, well this is also person and circumstance specific. I photographed you during the chopping competition at the gathering. Hell I'm convince that if were you deprived of red meat and beer for a couple of weeks you could probably out chop most people even if they had their choice of knife and you used a butter knife :D

Last I heard is that the factory is running a new batch soon. I got mine from a member here, they're pretty much out of stock everywhere else. As soon as I hear something I'll let you know, it's a heck of a knife.

i'm also interested in this knife but can not find any were in UK so this would be a great help, as i would like to get it before it is discontinued or updated

A seller from another forum promised to let me know as soon as he had them back in stock. First thing I hear I'll let you guys know. Btw, I got a bk2 and side to side both are great knives. I don't think you'll do wrong with either of them.
