BK20- Speculation on the 450 units

That seems like a bunch considering how long they've been out. I wonder what their next move is if it goes stale...

I really don't think it'll go stale tho, once reviews etc get out and others start seeing them, they'll prob all go.

I would have thought 450 would have been gone in two days max . KaBar was smart to do just a sprint run .
 
450 will be like none were made 6 months after they are sold out. Will be valuable and unobtainable.
 
I know I would like another set . I think it's funny to read the the reactions to those who have never held a 5 or a 4 and wonder why they diden't get one sooner . Look at the 15 ! The 15 , 5 and the 4 all sleepers to me as well . Am very thankful I gave all of EM a chance . Like any and all Becker's there GREAT !

I'll admit that that was me with the 5, even though I primarily use it as a kitchen knife. (I know it is far more capable than that)

I just called and was told "about 3/4 of supply is sold"

I had a feeling those early posts stating low numbers were really off, but they got me to buy another.

I wish i was simply slacking on this one - but unfortunately the knife budget has been worn thin after stocking up on 4's 5's and 15's... Hell i don't even have a BK9 yet and as i so often see on here "you cant NOT have a bk9"

As far as the thought process behind the limit of 450 being produced, i keep wondering if there is a correlation between the remaining supply of 4's and 5's and the number of 20's that were made for this run. Ive already noticed that the 15's seem to have dried up, but the 4's and 5's are still relatively readily available.

Im hoping that if this is a true limited 450 that get produced and if it is in fact to help sell through whats left of the 4's and 5's, that they inevitably come out with a variant of the 20 in the not too distant future when the becker budget returns haha

Yup...my second set came today, wow, that was fast! Thanks Ka-Bar!

I'm not much for safe Queens, but this will be stashed. Maybe swap for a BK6 in the future or something.
And it is way sharper than my first one came, but I remedied that.
I'm well stocked on 4's and 5's now lol. 4 of each!
 
I'm considering one, but I'd have more use for a BK2 and/or a BK9, BK10 than the included options (BK4 & BK5).
