I got my BK21 from @knifejunkie1928 today, thank you! I'm really liking the large kukri style blades here! Wicked choppers for sure as they made quick work of some brush in the backyard! Still no solid chop off yet. They are all different, but very similar in the way they swing and chop. Main differences are the weight and the handle shape on the Blackjack one. I'll do more thorough chopping this weekend.

Congrats. Looking forward to the chop off. Just don't chop off your leg.

Nice collection.
Of all the recent big Beckers, this is the one I've kept. It's all chopper. The 9 is the crossover, but the 20 and 29 were in a no-man's land for my imaginary uses.

The black bk21 is mine, the other two belong to @nutoknives. I'm trying them out to see if I want to trade my 20 for one or not!

Very nice Bravo! I look forward to hearing your impressions. It is a great chopper for sure.

I don't usually think about knives as weapons but when I hold the 21 it crosses my mind. It seems like it would stab as well as it chops. I think you could run someone through as easily as you could lop someone's arm off. It may be the ultimate bug out knife.

I have done some side by side with the 21, 20 and Parangatang. They all chop great and the 20 seems to be the most well rounded but there is something about holding the 21 that just makes you feel ready for the worst. It just has a certain feel to it in the hand. I like it. :)

Early on, when we were first hearing about the 21, there was talk of a thinner version. I can't remember if they were going to release two different thickness 21's, or decide between the 2. I'm old, and my memory comes and goes. I was really wanting the thinner version, the reason being, I was wanting to use it as a machete on my land.

thin version? buy nearly any KLO. bah ;)

me? there was a slightly thicker version... that i coveted. alas, the only prototypes were ganked into obscurity.

the Blackjack one is sublime.

the KaBar one is very cool though.

Dang , I just noticed the edge , it looks like you got the serrated version or is it just the lighting ? :(Have a 4 that had that, took a good amount of time for me to work it out . Oh well if anyone can take care of that in a hurry it would be you ;)

'Bout time you bought one... congratulations

I just bought a couple Ontario machetes a 12" and a 18". Cheap and sweet

It does look a bit jagged:

It's not as bad as it appears. It's more of serrations of the coating near the edge. Nothing major though, I can have those removed on the first sharpening...:)

Right on 91, glad it's not to bad :)

Yeah, the inner curve of my BK21 wasn't that sharp. Edging recurves doesn't seem to be Ka-bar's strong suit. But the steel is all good, and I got it wicked sharp with a little work.
