Hahaha, sure helps me decide that I'll borrow somebody else's to admire for a few chops, and then return it. :)
I've admired Nathan's work and methods for several years in the custom forum, but lost track when he got his own subforum, as I only have room for so many tabs on my screen at once...

After you sand blasted, then 0000 steel wool the blade (beautiful by the way) right here - there always seems to be a point where they look so good you don't want to make it a user.. But now looks great again.

What did you use for your patina, or what do you coat yours with? I am also in SEC land 15 miles south of LSU so it gets plenty wet. If I did this with mine, seems so pour-us I'd be afraid to take it outside one time without some rust freckles appearing... AD

I cut a lot of green vegetation at my work and it just pretty much turned out the way that it looks now! Just take you some of that green leaf juice and spread it all over the blade and leave it there.
