hard to say on numbers or rarity until a few years go by?
Exactly
what does rare mean?
one of 1000 made? less? one of 5?
450-500 seems limited, not rare...
truly one of a kind? like, only known example? heh...
I would think that If the sales numbers are quick enough, and demand is high enough that it would be a incentive from a business stand point to keep production rolling. But without the bundle incentive how would the 29 fair as a stand alone blade.I don't think I read anything like when there gone there gone. So they may keep making the 29?

Point taken. The package deal did appeal to me because It had a 5 with it. I'd never handled one before and I wanted one to go along side my 15. I ended up liken the 5 so much that I primed another one!!!!The itnly reason I do not have one is because it is bundled.... I would be more apt to buy a 29 if it wasn't in a package deal. Don't get me wrong, it is a fantastic deal, but $200 is a sizeable chunk when one's knife budget is usually $100 or (more often) less each month. That being said, the bundle is a great marketing tool. Offer a limited edition knife and make it available only if you buy 3 knives, its a nice money maker.

It's not bundled. These would be $200 without the extras. The extras are freebies to create incentive and probably to move old stock.
