BK7 Appreciation Week!

Its a hot vinegar patina. Think I soaked it in hot vinegar four times for like fifteen minutes each. Between dips I sprayed it down with windex and rubbed it with steel wool and then rinsed and dried. I like the way it turned out.

Seven is my perfect knife. If I had to choose a Becker as my one and only, it would definitely be her. Great proposal Sqoon. May is National BK7 Appreciation month. It's also National Masturbation Month. seriously.

Wow. Really? Is that a Canadian observance or did the US just get that much more interesting?

The 7 is an awesome knife. It is the knife I would grab if I had to pick just one. Glad we can agree on something.

It's just perfect for my neck of the woods. Small enough to do almost any task and big enough to shank the occasional bigfoot that wanders into camp. Love the seven and with micarta and an al's kydex it's just a bad ass set up for camping.

Not that we don't love your pics but we all know we want some Gwennie BK7 pics...You started it...

That's a pretty cool look. I may do that with my Kabar1277. Thanks for the tip.

I love my 7 ! I've had it for a couple of weeks now and I think it's a pretty good knife for the money.I only wish the secondary edge was a bit wider, but that can easily be fixed. I'm impressed with the knife's cutting ability.Micarta grips would be awsome and I'm planning on getting them later in the summer (first one to recieve micarta and a nice leather sheath is my BK14).. :)

I need to update my pics!
Its been stripped the since this pic and the handles are showing a little more use.
Love the 7! Quickly becoming my favorite!
