BK7 Appreciation Week!

The BK7 was my gateway becker. I really need to learn to take better pic's, and get to posting more. My crappy cell-phone, makes my knives look like crap..lol.

Gosh darn it! I wanted to spend money on one before and everyone said no... Now I really want one! You guys did this on purpose!

good thing we didn't say to jump off a bridge.....

I am going to take my BK7 out this weekend...it hasn't been used much since adopting a few other toys....I need to put some mileage on the tires...

I don't know how I feel about the Bk7.
I sold mine for the Bk5 and I really like that.
It is a solid knife.
I wish Ethan made a 7 inch drop point.

Excellant thread and pics! For those that don't own a 7, this should be the best push to get one!

actually, Trade's pic of a properly de-ramped 7 made my mind up for me, I dont know as I've ever seen one sans ramp...I like it!

Thrill, you know you like that little finger tip choil for fine work. Admit it. :D

Thrill
The ramp definitly makes it more difficult to build a sheath for it. Sans ramp would take more than a quarter inch more narrow width wise!
Cheers

Trade, I will admit I could live with your small choil. It is aesthetically pleasing enuff.
I still do NOT freely condone the grinding of a cutting edge tho! LMAO

U did what I have thought about doing as soon as I saw a pic of a 7....trim that dang wattle of a finger guard down so it is in scale with the blade height! The finger guard is fine on the taller 9, but hangs down to much (in my eyes/opinion) on the 7. Like I said, your lil 7 convinced me I should try one out soon.

That is true Eagle, less material, sleeker sheath overall. U will find out soon enough LOL

I plan on getting the BK7 and BK5 first out of the larger Beckers.... As soon as I have one I'll appreciate it. :D

I'm really happy that the thread has gone so well. I'm really amazed at how every. single. BK7 posted has a look and personality all its own. I get the feeling that if all of these were lined up in a row, each owner could pick out their own without fail.

Keep 'em coming!

My BK7 is kind of a slut. I caught her with the JAB Potbelly in the garage last night. She said she couldn't help herself....the Cliching turned her on. ARGH!
