Wow! Beautiful work, man. My wife commented that the handles almost look like camo after the final finishing/polishing. Really nice.
 
Where did you find a drill bit that would give you a hex hole? It must be magic or something.

Only difference I would make... is when I redo Becker handles, I put the Hex side on the inside and the ''prettier'' round bolt head on the outside or ''dress'' side.

Y'know, I confess I really didn't think of that, I just put 'em on the way the factory did. :o

Heh! It's quite simple, really. I just drilled a hole to fit the width of the nut across the flats, then used a common chisel to cut the hex shape around the perimeter. They're in there pretty snug; to get them out you have to unscrew the bolt, thread it in a ways from the "outside" and use that to pull 'em out of the inlets.
