BK9 Viking style updated! 11/09/2015 It's done!

Looks awesome man. I thought perhaps you were gonna carve on the grips.

Thank you Warrior! I still might just worried it would be to much but It's already over the top already. I will see I'm working on something else and will come back to it shortly after a little bit.

I hear ya. It looks killer the way it is man. Great job. I've been back several times to check it out.

LOL I'm actually a pretty mellow guy turning 40 next year so Ive been slowing it down alot no more crazy stuff for this ole boy.

Turning 52 myself. Gets harder as you get older. Working out, that is. ;)

Wait'll you're in your 50's trying to do the Beckerhead Spartan Challenge. Holy $h!+ I'm tired.

I didn't realize I was that much older than the hang-arounds around here, but I'm old enough now that pullin' an "all-nighter" means I slept straight through without having to get up to pee, and I don't rightly recall the last all-nighter I pulled.

Anyway, very cool rig, 'rillaink. Really like what you did with the hawk too. Glad I stopped in today and caught this, and hello to everybody.

Looks great! I'm with Dubz though. I don't think carving the grips would be too over the top, not with your skills. It does look amazing as is, but if I were going to leave wood scales plain with that epic sheath, I'd want Oregon maple burl or something.

That's a pretty kick-ass setup. I like the matching Norse hawk, too. If you carve the handles, you should also etch the blade - just to make sure you have embellished every last inch of your setup.
