Brian Goode generously has donated a gorgeous knife for us to play with. I've already posted little bit about it. We are limiting this to 8 people. Passaround closed!.

Here's the specs:

1/8" thick D2 steel, 4 3/4" blade, 9 1/2" overall.
RC of 60-61
BLACK Curly Walnut handle
Leather sheath.

Made for cutting - NOT CHOPPING OR PRYING.

The Rules:

1. You must promise to ship the BGoode knife after 3 days of usage. Shipping must be USPS insured for 200.00 and sent Priority to the next person on the list, plus, you must use "delivery confirmation" when you send.
2. You must take at least one pic and post it in the passaround thread with your impressions of the knife.
3. Do not abuse this knife and try to pry with it, or chop heavy wood with it. Light batoning is acceptable, but be reasonable. If you break it, you buy it.
4. You must have at least 200 posts to be included, or, if I know you personally, I reserve the right to include you if you have less.

*We reserve the right to not include you in the passaround if for any reason we are not sure of your intentions, etc.*
*CONUS ONLY. Sorry guys, but we are going to keep this in the lower 48* Also, if you initially agree to the conditions above but fail to fulfill any of them, you will not be eligible for any more passarounds.

So far I am including (please verify your acceptance of the rules and participation):

1. mapper66
2. Theonew
3. siguy
4. brettbdws
5. dougo83
6. cmdr249
7. ILBruche
8. tonym

This knife is one of the most outstanding precision woodworking tools I've used. Light and easy to control for drilling and detailed notching and carving. The handle is comfortable for as long as I held and used the knife. Some pictures of things I did - trap triggers, notching and drilling of arrow shafts ot foreshafts (I combined several items on one piece of wood to make it easier to see.). It's also a great food prep knife for veggies and meat, but I didn't have my camera handy at that point.

Here are some pics of the knife and some of the woodwork I did with it:

Hey Brian, I am gone from Aug 10 - 17th so please move me to the bottom of the list.

Thanks

Enjoy fellas, and remember....you have the knife I was supposed to keep:thumbup:

Use her like a knife and not a chopper/prybar and she should be good to go.
