Black Mountains, Western NC

Great photos. Nothing better then time spent in the mountains.

Cool..looks bad ass bro. I wish I could go on a hike with my brother...green with envy man. Gene

Great photos. Is that the Blue Ridge Assembly in the 2nd picture or is it Ridgecrest?

I live about 45 minutes west of there at the beginnings of the Smokies. Both are beautiful!

Sorry that you got rained on but we *really* need it.

John

hey man, hit me with an email or something next time. I live like 30 minutes from there. What was the name of the trail you were on? I should have a map of it.

Nice pictures, bet the trip was awesome... reminds me that I havent ever hiked down that way, and maybe it is time to put a trip together and end that way!

Gene, love my Aurora, Bro!

I amazed at how many forum members live around here. We have to get together to practice skills and hang out. Jack, I'll drop you a line. I just exchanged emails with terrill Hoffman too, and we're gonmna try to get together as well sometime this week or next.

Maybe we can have a Practice before Practice What You Preach. Call it "Pre-preach?" :D Or, nothing formal, just meet up somewhere, do some hiking, then hit one of the towns for dinner.

Anyone who lives close, give me a shout at ctwildernessgathering "at" yahoo dot com if you want to hang.
