Increased corrosion resistance! :D

Looks pretty sweet to me, but I want one with a yellow handle. ;)

Oooo....yellow handle w/ a black blade sounds awesome to me!! That would look pretty cool on a millie too! ;)

So far I can only find these on eBay and from SFO.

Anyone know where else to find them?

Thx.

Have you tried asking Tom Berry? He can normally get anything in 10-14 days. This was just released today, so I doubt many people will have it in stock.

I'm guessing they won't make a black/yellow combo seeing that the coating is geared toward a non-reflective tactical use.

They're pinned construction too, so you can't frankenstein them.

You got a link?

Personally, I'm hoping a Native III SE in H1, with a black blade and a yellow handle is possible.

But it's not too likely, unfortunately.:(

Well..... you could drill the rivets out and start replacing stuff.... :D

Haha, no thanks.

I'll mutilate a 600 piece limited ed. orange Millie, but I draw the line when it comes to drilling two perfect knives. :D

You had a good reason to desecrate that millie though. ;)

I guess STR or someone could do it. I just think it'd be cool with the yellow handle, though that does defeat the tactical advantages a black blade provides. :D

How about just coating the blade yellow with yellow handle? It could pass as a harmless banana. :p:thumbup:

My orange/black Millie has been deemed "The Goblin"

What would you call the yellow/black salt? "The Bumblebee?"

Any of you guys think H1 will replace VG10 as Spyderco's new standard steel?

From what I've seen on youtube (ie. nutnfancy, severator, etc.) and have read online, the new Salts hold their edges well and are superb in resisting corrosion. It looks like H1 might be the AK of knife steels.

I am watching the 3 black bladed Salts on auction and so far one is already at $56.00 and it still has 3 days left. It looks like people are going to start overpaying as usual.

Regular Pacific Salts usually sell for $50.00-60.00 at auction.

Agreed. :thumbdn: IIRC people were selling the bug for 20-30 on the bay.

yeah, H1 is good stuff, but VG10 gets waaay sharper for waaay longer, But the H1 really doesnt rust, pretty cool.
is that black bladed H1 gonna be readily available???

here ya go dude. They've had them for over 5 days now. I'm waiting for mine to ship.

Hmmm, just noticed MSRP is $15.00 more on the black blade compared to other Salts, so Knifecenter is probably spot on at $77.00.

Thanks for the link SecSpyral
