Blackhawk Crucible or RAT RC-3

Slightly off topic, but at the same time, relevant.

Will the RAT Izula (and by association, other fixed RATs) stay in their sheaths while trailrunning? I've wanted a fixed blade for running that I had immediate access to. It can be clipped to a running pack I wear. However, the retention needs to be strong enough to withstand constant draws out of the sheath and hundreds of miles of bouncing upside down.

Shouldn't be a prob. You might ask this in the RC forum to get a surefire answer, but I'm pretty sure RAT drop tests the knives 4 feet to test retention of the knife in the sheath.

I think i am going to get both :) the Crucible for more edc and self defense and the rc-3 for utility work.
Thanks all

Don't know much about the other knife but you'll never regret buying any Rat Cutlery blade. I have the RC-4 and absolutely love it.

Congratulations two excellent choices! Now comes the where will you carry them question?

Where should i carry them? hehe. I'm a lefty so i was thinking on the right side of the waist for a cross draw. i will experiment to see what feels best.
