Blackmamba wins Case Beer Trap GAW

Nice GAW!!
I'm in for a yellow beer trap.
Here's the knife that started it all for me.
 
Aww man, I was trying to hold off on putting in for anymore GAWs for a while but that yellow delrin beer trap is irresistible and I haven’t got the spare money at the moment! Thanks for the generous opportunity to own a knife I’ve been wanting!

I had SAKs and a couple of stockmen (Frost cutlery, I think) when I was a kid. My first knife was a Vic classic at the age of 7 but I went the “tactical” route for a long time. I carried a CRK for 8 years before losing it in 2013, so that’s what I’d have been carrying 10 years ago. When I lost that I picked up a Victorinox Cadet, then a yellow Case Sodbuster and have been falling deeper into that rabbit hole ever since.
 
It was fun to think about how things have changed have changed since I first joined the forum and it was nice to see a glimpse of how things have changed for you or how you got started. I enjoyed your posts.

I used a random number generator to pick a winner for the GAW and the winner is Jeff (blackmamba)

Thanks for the generous GAW, Jake, and congrats on your post count milestone! :eek: :cool: Even though I didn't enter (I almost always carry a SAK with a bottle opener, so no real need for a Case Beer Trap), I certainly enjoyed people's stories about their favorite knives a decade ago.
