Blacksmith shop, England, 19th century, in cast iron

Wow, great ebay grab! I found a couple antique stove doors on my place when I moved here. I found the two doors, and old horse-drawn furrow, this massive old wheel, a 19th century Vietnamese coin, old ax head buried about two feet in the ground, and a whole bunch of other things.

Check out some Bronze Foundry's. They will do green sand casting, some are reasonable and if you can sell the repro's it might be worth it. That is really cooool It is a piece of fine art and you probably did not pay near enough for it. Good Score

I checked the prices of some 'firebacks' and they were up to $ 300 + for the more complex designs . However all were low relief designs ,nothing with the detailed high relief of the balcksmith one.Have it professionally cast in resin. I want one !
