Hi!

Today I'd like to show you Blackthorne. This one is simple, classy, and elegant—just as a gentleman's Bowie should be.

The blade is made from 0.25" thick 80CrV2 steel with hand satin finish and full flat grind. The false edge is left unsharpened.

The guard and spacers are made of hot blued steel with polished brass accents. The main part of the handle is made of polished G10 glued with high-strength epoxy.

The set is completed with a matching handmade leather sheath with strap.

The knife measures 12.8 inches overall, with a 8.1-inch blade.

Oh! Forgot to mention that awesome sheath. That keeper strap is on the right side also. When you draw the knife from the sheath there's no chance of cutting it. I think all sheaths should be made this way. Sorry to ramble on just wanted to mention what a great sheath you've made for that awesome knife.
