Blade 2013 thread! (KAI related)

I think I'm going to have to replace my computer now....too much drool on the keyboard seems to be shorting it out! Thanks KAI for sharing those awesome pics! Not that you need to sell me on any of these knives but if anyone was on the fence I think you just boosted your sales some!!!
 
My God Kai Corp, I REALLY want to get ahold of those Blackwashed Blades. The ZT0300BW and the 0560BW are screaming my name! Those are the best pictures so far and it's an instant classic, I tells ya. Despite the newer designs being displayed recently, I have a special place in my heart for the 0300 series, well the 0560 is amazing too. :thumbup:

The 0454 is probably the favorite of 2013 for me. Damn fine work that one with the CB.

I would NEVER wonder why the 0454 is more expensive. You are right about the 3D machining and the composit blade, that's what adds cost. Why you still wonder? You gave the reason. In addition the 0454 is a complete new model with sub frame lock, machined titanium pocket clip and backspacer while the 0801cf uses a standard zt pocket clip and is basically just a variant of the 0801. 0801cf uses different machining and just some cf inlays which are nothing special actually. You can see cf inlays on 10$ chinese knives hence they are not as complicated to machine and intensive as the sculpted cf handle of the 0454.
 
Those new pics are great.

But I hope the new 0560BW comes with the black pocket clip like it showed in the first pics.
 
It does come with the black pocket clip. That uncoated one...used to uh...belong to a different knife. :D

s_r, while CF inlays are not special in your world, they certainly are in ours. I don't feel the $10 China knife comparison has much accuracy.
 
man, after handling an 0600, i have to have one. Such a smooth flipper, any indication of a reversible clip, or tip up only?
 
Think will be seeing that 600 soon! The Kai ZT facebook changed their profile pic to it. They seem to do this when they are ready to be released. Plus they mentioned they have some exciting news to be revealed.

Easy there, tiger. You act as if I insulted you directly when in reality I had no intention to insult anyone. I'm not complaining at all so sorry if it came off that way. I think I've just been spoiled by the tilt which had a lower msrp; If I recall correctly actually, Jimmer said that they really could have put the msrp higher. Maybe that's why these new knives are under zt's production now. I don't really care that much, like I said I think the designs coming from KAI have been really top notch and I look forward to the zt 0777 and 0600 which I have preordered and the 0801cf and 0454 which I intend to pre order.

Thanks again for those pictures, KAI Corp. The 0600 and 0454 are definitely two of the sexiest knives I've ever seen, I can't wait to get my hands on them!
