Yes Great job Stephen. I was lucky enough to see his knives in person and the pictures don't do them justice the looked great.

sort of, but not exactly.

I had a conversation years ago with Kevin Jones about why I don't make damascus knives very often,

My answer was that I wanted to get to the point where I could make a GOOD plain knife before I would let my self focus on embellishments and pretty stuff. My J.S. pretty well sealed that for me.

so my plan is to take the next year or two and really focus hard on damascus patterns and designs. I'll be making knives purely to use up the large amount of damascus I'll be making and funding more steel to work with.

then, once I'm satisfied with my ability to create and manipulate pattern we'll start looking at MS testing (it's a Marathon not a sprint)
