Blade auction denial???

Um, did I miss something?

I said nothing about mike, aside from
seeing mike's name in this forum I don't
even know who he is. This is exactly
what I said to them

"Hello,
I was recently informed that my blade
auction membership was denied. Can you
please tell me why? I would very much
like to bid on items in blade auction.
Please respond ASAP.
Thank you."

Here is what they said

"Do you like mike turber?"

that is all that was said in their
response.
I then emailed them with this
response,but have gotten no reply.

"I dont understand your question. I dont know a Mike Turber"

Well, that is the whole exchange word for word. Now what do you all think?

Tell him you like him gutted, skinned, and deep-fried to a golden brown and get on with the auction.

I would tend to believe facts rather then speculation, as I am sure you all would. I certainly have no reason to believe that anyone who says they received this-or-that e-mail saying something to the effect of "If you are on BF, or are friendly with Mike Turber, then your gone from my site" is lying. This is by far one of the most polite and cordial forums I have seen on the internet, so I have no reason to expect ulterior motives here. The fact that one person who is a known friend of the owner of Blade Auctions hasn't had their access to the site denied does not surprise me. Even when making a mistake, and letting unrelated individuals suffer due to a petty one sided feud (as to say, Mike I am sure has nothing against Josh, h keeps up all links, and preaches a friendly atmosphere here... Why would he break his own rule?) one is almost certain to distinguish certain people as different, and therefore not grouped in a similar fashion. It's like knowing two people that don't like each other, or have problems with each other. Neither of them is likely to break ties with YOU, but others who are perhaps also friends of this person you are having problems with gets seen in a similar light as that person. Nothing can be discredited by one simple truth, but by that same coin nothing can be CREDITED with that little information either. I am sure there is more to this story then getting pissed about a rival auction site...

Just do what you have to do, and get it over with, as they say.

I believe Spark is running out of tongue to bite.

Guys please listen to your moderator here, James Mattis.

We could open a HUGE can of worms here and I do not want to resort to that again. Been there, done that. Those who have been around since the beginning of this forum, KnifeForums and the now closed recdotknives (Josh's old forum) know what I am talking about.

This is old news and Josh knows what he has done in the past. It is in the past and lets keep it that way. I have to move on and not worry about the old days. We created this site and it's success is a direct result of the failures of others. We have a great atmosphere here and I must maintain that.

I know many of you are very curious as to what this thread is all about. Maybe someone can email you the old details but we are taking the high ground here and that is the course we want to remain on.

Josh's BladeAuctions is a very well run auction. It is very expensive software he is using and in many ways his auction is better than ours. Please try to be civil and do not worry about the behind the scenes issues. Josh is welcome here and he can plead his case witout worry of censorship. We have let him defend himself in "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" as we would anyone.

The no personal attacks rule applies to everyone, myself included.

Spark and I both are biting our tounges so hard the taste of blood is feeding our thoughts. We must, however, maintain the great atmosphere we have developed here, even if it means swallowing our tounges, and most importantly our pride.

Mike,
I did not mean to start such a cutthroat post. My original post was simply to find out why I was denied, and what their reply meant(I still am not quite sure .) I have no ill feelings toward anyone. I will just
try to register again.

Josh does not make sense at times. I have been trying to figure him out for years. I think he is really a good businessman but he is very conufusing to say the least.

I for one have never had any problems at BladeAuctions. I was late with one payment (stupid me). But have gave them CC to cover any bills. I have sold a lot of things and have made money there and will still use their site. I post on ebay and on Amazon.com. I will put up my knives for sell any where. This the USA. And I would hate to think anyone is denied use of selling on their site becouse of who we know, or where else we sell.
I tried to post some knives on BladeAuctions today, but I must have done something wrong. Wrong Password or something. I emailed them to set me stright on what I am doing wrong. I can't spell and my memore is about this short. I will keep everone updated.

I tried to bid on a microtech and my password was denied. Is my money not green enough?

Outside of dealing with monopolies, this is an experience for me. I'm sure a reasonable explaination exists. Until then, I'll take JKM's advice. I'll still do business with PVKAT and Bladeauction but the ball's in the other court, and plenty of people still sell microtechs, spydercos, and benchmades.

Update: I checked my email before leaving for church and there's a new pass word. I'm going to take a redemptive approach and consider this event a misunderstanding.

Well after tring all weekend to contact Bladeauctions i have got nothing. No reponse from them nothing. I have tried to reregester but it sayes that some one aready has my name, so I ask it for my password to be sent to me by email (like I forgot it) and it sayes; "We do not have your email address on file. Either you are not registered, are registered under a different email, or have mis-typed your email address. Please check and re-enter." I have never had a problem with them before. They have always been fast getting things fixed and problems solved. What have I done wrong?????? Why won't he call or email me???
