Blade, Bose Ho's, Crockett, Boone, & Underoos.

and these three are part of the reason (along with many others pictured in this thread) why this forum means what it means to many of us:
Mike, Greg and Elliott - spending time with you guys was a pleasure like few others that we talk about here. ;)

It was great to meet Greg McKenna in person (one of the first friends I made here on BF), also Bobby Branton and Chuck Kerwin. Had a lot of fun with Jerry (JB in SC) Betsy, Ashley and Kerry. Also Randy, Reese, Tony, Gus, Mike Zscherny and Barbara, LarryM, Todd Davidson, Tom Stivison and Cookie, Jerry and Janice Halfrich, Lee Grogan, John Hanlon, and Marty Witek.

I enjoyed CEing and CFing knives by Joel Chamblin (nice guy), Rusty Preston, Mike Z and Jerry, Tony and Reese, Gus' Hanson and Brend knives, some of Campbell's haul, Elliott's haul (as well as dinner with him and Tina). Apologies if I left anyone out.

Spent more time this year looking at old knives even though I didn't buy any.

Won an S.R. Johnson stag chute knife in a drawiing, which John Hanlon helped me find a new home for. No love in the Bose drawing.

Missed some good folks from last year's Blade.

Thanks for picking up my cell phone from the front desk Elliott!

Only bought one knife, one of Mike Zscherny's first slip joints:

Mike,

I checked with Mike Z. on that, and if my pickled brain recalls correctly, he said it was the first of that pattern he had made. Found that out after you had left.

No problem on the phone. I'll shoot you a message when I get 'er shipped.

Looks like another satisfying Blade Show by the looks of these forumite BoseHos. I envy you guys. Next year I hope. Thanks much for posting!

Great pics Gus! Nice to put a face to the names, and to see my old friends too.

Greg looks much shorter than I thought!:D

To say I had a blast would be putting it mildly. I hung out with the fun bunch (Mike, Kerry, Campbell, Ashley, and Betsy) and look forward to next year.

No luck in the drawings...

The show was off-the-hook fun this year. I met some more BF'ers for the first time, which is always a treat, but wanted to see others that I just didn't get a chance to hook up with. I wish I had a strategy for getting to all the tables but there are just too many darn distractions. I sucked at picture taking this year too...musta been the alcohol. :p

I was able to spend some time talkin to TADavison and Menefee. Rick and I ended up exchanging knives...I'm now the proud owner of a Menefee Made Modified Wharncliffe Trapper in natural linen micarta, only my second handmade knife from another maker. :D Thanks Rick!

Had a great time meeting everyone that I could for the first time. The show went really well for me. Would like to say thanks to Tony, Kerry, Resse, Gus, Elliot, Gig, Rick, KR Johnson, Mike, Jerry, Ian and a lot of other makers for a great show and talking knives with me..... THANK YOU all!! It was great.....:D

Hope to see you all again.
Take care.

Todd

Must be the leader of the dark alley gang. Looks mean as a snake that has been stepped on.:D

What is that he is carrying. Looks like and early model "Elmer Keith". ;)

Just wanted to hop in and thank all you fine folks for sharing here on this thread, and to let you know I would have replied sooner, but I have been traveling this week and had limited access to online stuff at times.

Ya' know Gus, Charlie may look meaner `n a snake, but I'll bet he's really soft as a Mouseketeer's ear. :D

Welcome Home, Sweetie!
Any pictures from Durango?

Hey BopGirl, thanks for the welcome...drove 1014 miles today...ding, ding, ding, ding, dinghy! :)

Would you believe that #1 son & I were so busy bicycling, eating, walking, talking, drinking and bullshooting, that this is the only pic I took on this trip at a place about 15 miles out of Durango called Baker's Bridge where the Animas River narrows into a small gorge as it spills out of the foothills of the San Juans. It's a beautiful place. The water is pinched here to about 30 feet wide and 40 feet deep between stunning rose pink granite shoulders. My o' my, mother nature does it rights doncha know? :) One would not lollygag long in those currents were one to be deposited thusly so. ;) :D
