Ok folks, I know this has been covered several times over the years but nothing recently and we have a few new members on the forum, so I thought it would be an interesting poll to see where our interests are as blade length is concerned.
Myself I have been drifting to smaller blades lately, the smallest being my Giantmouse Ace Farley with about a 2 3/4" blade, but I have a custom coming in, a slip joint with a 2 1/2" blade that I think will be quite handy, more on that once it reaches me
The newest arrival was my Kizer Gemini with black micarta scales, a newer release and I think the blade is thinner this time round making it a great slicer! it's length is a hair over 3" but still works fine, so I guess I'm saying there is no one size that will fit every one, but for my use a shorter blade works quite well. Where a longer blade can get in it's own way, but there are times a longer blade certainly is handy but I save such chores for fixed blade choice.
and my Real Steel Stella is right in the mix, between the Ace and the Gemini...
