BLADE SHOW ’11 – Show us what you got; Please!

I just posted this in our other BLADE Show thread, but I thought I'd post it here too to keep them all in one place. The excitement is building at our house... almost like Christmas!

"Narwhal" figher...

Adam-

Beautiful knife, Adam, executed with a dramatic flare in
very good taste!!

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

Another beautiful knife, and your photography is top notch as well. Hope to see you in Atlanta!

This is NOT! finished!
I just had to get something on this thread while I was on break.
This is a 324 layer Twisted Stag Hunter.
The fittings are Ws Damascus, just not etched yet.
I will have quite a varied assembly of Damascus Hunters this year as well as a nice Laddered Cowboy Bowie which has a lot of promise at this point.
Two more billets of Damascus not even forged yet.

Man I wish I could go. Amazing art. Blown away by the level of talent here. Would be cool to see it in person. Maybe someday.

Here's a second knife for BLADE by JR Cook ABS Mastersmith. He's celebrating 25 years of knifemaking this year these knives for BLADE are marked accordingly.
This one is a beauty, similar in size to the one above with the pearl handle. I'll shut up and let the picture do the talking. Two more from JR are coming to me for photography and I'll post them asap.

Adam, the fluted handle on your "Narwhal Fighter" really makes that knife outstanding!

i love it Karl!

Here's a new model or more an alternative version of an existing model from Jerry. A smaller version of his famous Sendero Hunter which he's been making for about 18 years now.

Jerry describes it:
Hey folks. My dang ole program that I use for my website has been corrupted for the past few months so I am just now getting it back. Still have more work to do on the site. But at least I can post a photo.

Blade show bound. Sendero Lite.

This is an approx 3/4 size Sendero. Yep, just like the big boys, only shrunk. The front and sides of the stainless guard is engraved with a touch of gold inlay the pins are engraved as well. It has a different signature on it because it is the first of something. On the reverse side it is marked with #1. It is the first of the Sendero lites. This little bugger weighs only approx 2 ounces and has a 3 3/4 inch blade length of Dog Star pattern damascus. Want to see it compared to a regular size Sendero, it is the next picture below. This knife is a perfect companion when you have to whup out that small something to impress.

If you want to compare its size then here that is.

That is my regular size Sendero.

I am always trying to address what I see as weakness in my knives. As such, I will be introducing my Strong Shoulder, Zero Step Down Construction. There is no holes for pins, no notch, and no step down in cross section. The tang and ricasso area is hardened and drawn to a spring temper. I believe it is the strongest design with a soldered guard, bar none.

very clever! And mates up nicely with the thumb ramp I see on some of your knives, no doubt. So simple and innovative!

I have quite a selection that I will post in the upcoming weeks. Most are majorly completed, but still need a few fine details to bring to fruition.
I will add them as they are done.
Some of you have seen my Banquet knife:

Hi Kevin, hi everybody-

This is probably the only piece that will be shown in it's entirety prior to Blade, so wanted to absolutely include it in this all-encompassing thread. Hope you all enjoy Curt's damascus/walrus dagger, one of many pieces he will have at Blade.
