Blade Show 2005

It would be good if a lot of us got the same hotel or in the same area it would make meeting up less complicated

Who ever is organizing dinner or whatever I hope you post some info on it or maybe we can get a cell number (through email)
as far as pirce? several friends last year said they got some great prices (all factory stuff no custom) but outside of how much any dealer items what a knife maker charges for custom items ? the price of a piece is really more how much you value it

Thanks for the tip.... we booked at the same hotel will be there Friday morning and also have a rental car

If someone wants to set up meeting /dinner whatever and wants to be the contact...we could get names and cell phone numbers through email (keeps it private) so we can communicate

aslo I will have a few HI kuks with me for trade/ maybe sale but really would rather trade 20 25 " chit - kobra - sirupate -movie model all horn handles
 
my vote is for hdwrlover to be "top dog" for the dinner since he has the contact with the Busse crowd.

well so far there are at least two cars avialable from the Residense Inn ...I don't know anything about the area other than its close to the Galleria
 
Jim and I will need a ride too...we'll be coming directly from the show.

Maybe all those without rides meet together at Dan Koster/Bruce Bumps table 8-Q just before the close of the show on friday so we can work out who's riding with whom.
Does that sound like a plan? any opinions? Remember most of us have no idea what everyone else looks like. Last year a few of us were wandering around outside the restraunt looking confused before we started going around saying "H.I. forums?". :) A specific table would be great.

The table meet is a good idea we will be there and can give a ride also back to those staying in that area.

I'll be easy to spot I'll be the really good looking one

I had lunch there yesterday, and it was darned good too, the maibock is fantastic.

It is two exits north on 285 from where you will be staying.

Best beer in town, and the food is highly scored too, it's also reasonable.

Consider that one vote for the brewery! Maybe we can do a dinner on Saturday night too. We all have to eat right?
 
your so short , are you sure you can make the climb from the curb to the car seat. 38 days is really short.....
