Blade Show 2012

That 0888 has really got my attention. Would that be considered a gentlemens tactical/folder? It would be a perfect edc for dressy situations. Got anymore info on it, like price and when it's gonna be available?
They couldn't get too specific with price but by the way they've been going, I'd say we won't see that for another year/year and a half
..which is fine by me, I've got a few customs on order to keep me busy until then

Thanks for the pics! I gotta go next year!
Already made plans for next year again..we need a big group from VA to get in on the lotteries like some d-bag and his group did..completely monopolized some of the lotteries and apparently pulled the same $hit last year

It was cool. No denying that BUT its kind of pointless. Why the hell would anybody get a Kershaw manufactured production made "RJ design" for $400 when they could get a full mid-tech/custom from RJ himself for $600? I love knife collaborations but the price is too high for a ZT that will be majorly difficult to get your hands on. The ZT will always feel lacking in fit and finish to an original RJ.

Oh damn I didn't know it cost that much. I'll agree with you, just get an original RJ Martin. Also I didn't realize but that bitch is huge!

We went today, my first time going. Had a ball!!!

I collect traditional folders and got this at the Blade Show from Tim Britton himself. Amber stag and the engraving is done by Jim Small (who was also at Tim's booth). Very nice fellows for sure.

What's the ballpark price if you had to guess?

Everybody remember what happened with last year's ZT BLADE show offerings the zt 0560-1 and Kershaw Tilt 4001? They "retailed" for $280-$350 but they were just as hard as a custom to get. The secondary market had HUGE markups. These limited edition ZT's are beautiful and sexy but just not worth it value wise IMO when compared to true customs.

It was so great to chat with some of the makers from the forums here like Peter R., J. Grimsmo, and Clark.

I was super impressed with Jason Clark of Clark Custom Knives! Great FF, fantastic materials, IKBS, and a real slick full custom folder design for very reasonable prices ($400-$450). I had to pick one up. It was just sooooo smooth with a bank vault lock up.

I can't honestly believe that it is going to be that much. I'm thinking it is going to be close to the 0560/Tilt pricing.

I really really really like that knife. Can you tell me the blade length or take a pic next to something else for comparison? What kind of steel is it?

Closed: 5.55"
Open: 10.2"
Blade: 4.25"x.135"

Steel is CPM-154CM all hand ground and heat treated in house at Jason's shop in FL. The lightning strike CF handles are phenomenal! Honestly I probably handled 100 plus IKBS/bearing knives over two days and Jason's knives were among the top for bearing smoothness AND no blade play. (Peter R.'s new integral was a tiny bit smoother) I love the details that are in this knife. For instance the blade is a satin brushed finish while the flipper tang edges are mirror polished and the titanium liners are stone washed!

That bottom Burch/George collaboration is beautiful.

Thank you for all of these pictures guys. We who cannot be there really appreciate it.

I scored the cf bodega flipper....i was picked first! Woohoo!

You don't need that thing bro..sell it to me!!! Pump out some more integrals, that thing was elegant yet beastly at the same time

These two from David Mosier, we're right up there with Beggs as far as smoothness..he was awesome enough to show me the knives eventhough they were all spoken for.
