Whew, that was an awesome weekend at Blade! Twice it looked like I wasn't going to make it to Atlanta- almost never got on to the flight- I was the last call before the check-in/baggage drop counter shut down

. Land at Atlanta and then get a frantic call- my cousin was rear ended , car was totalled but he got off without any apparent injuries. For a few minutes, I thought I was flying right back, till events became clearer.
As far as the CPK team goes- always welcoming and a very chill and fun crowd to hangout with.
And now we have to talk about
yoko
- don't know how he does it, but if 5 people in a crowd finish their beers at the same time, they will all have fresh cans in their hands within 30 secs. Marines pinned down in a firefight have thought- what I wouldn't give for...and before the thought is finished, a cold one magically appears. The Greatest Beer Run Ever was probably about
yoko
.
Fonedork
and
D
dericdesmond
- never a dull moment.
So many other folks I met
Mike157
PolRoger
Not_Lefty
(am sure I missed a few more) , makers and others in the industry - all gracious with their time.
Much thanks to CPK for the huge spread of knives on the table ! Those pigstickers and reapers
