Blade Show Atlanta 2026

I'm headed there - it'll be my first Bladeshow. Don't know what to expect; early bird tickets sold out and can only attend Friday. All this talk of lines is making me nervous that I'm going to spend half the day waiting to get in. Mainly hoping to see Carothers and a few others. Any advise for a newbie? Can you pick up early bird tickets anywhere other than Bladeshow's website?

What ever lines there are, they move pretty fast, once the doors open. People get there, literally, days early to wait in the early bird line. I don’t think that the early bird tickets are available, except on line. I won’t be there this year, but on last years I would arrive to the early bird line about two hours before opening time and the line would be pretty far out the doors of the building. By getting there a bit later, after the doors open for the general public, you shouldn’t have to wait much at all. Getting in the early bird line doesn’t always guarantee that you’ll get to a specific maker in time to get a more rare piece. If you’re not going for anything hard to come by, you can stroll in at the regular opening time and just enjoy the show. Even though the show is usually rather packed with people, but it’s easy enough to visit your favorite makers for a decent conversation.

The venue is huge and can be a bit overwhelming at first. It can take more than a day to actually walk by every table. Maybe visit your favorite makers and then spend as long as you’d like, strolling and and taking everything in. It is pretty exciting and enjoyable. You can find just about everything there is having to do with knife making/production. Lots of custom makers and lots of production makers and everything and everyone, in between.

Just got an email .. they just released more early bird tickets on the Blade Show website

Anybody coming down the 19 (south) for Friday only (or Saturday only)?

I’ll be flying in/visiting family & can break away for a day. Trying not to be a burden & ask to borrow their only car. Prefer not to be standing at a freeway on-ramp with a cardboard sign “Blade Show.”😅

Wondering if I can set up to hitch a ride & back. I’ll be in Cumming. Shoot me a DM if I can hitch a ride both ways.

I suspect there are people in that area, Olde Towne located in Cumming has exhibited at every one I have attended - they may know locals. If you get in a bind, I am going Friday and could figure myself some of way over from Kennesaw Mtn, if you could get someone to cut the distance a little for me, I would assure you get back to where you need to be, I know the area well. MSG me if needed.

*edit: going Friday, have non-early bird ticket.
