I really don't think it will be an issue. I mean, all of these people with big ol' Rat knives covering them from head to toe. I am SURE they will be happy to accommodate us :)

Which reminds me, are we bringing some goodies to show off? I have a spyderpac full of stuff that I don't want to leave in the Hotel.
 
I'm sure I'll have several things to show and tell. I doubt anyone will bitch at us about it. lol

Actually, I do plan on having two or three finished to bring with me to show off. It's hard as hell to find time these days to work on them with all the family here and stuff. I've got three more blades done that just need handles, so I'm pretty sure I'll get the done in time.

In a totally unrelated not, have you guys done this meet-up before? Do you all know each other personally or is this going to be new for all of us?
 
1rst time for the whole shebang for me! I am really looking forward to meeting everyone. Are we still meeting at papadeux? how many is the final headcount??
 
First time meetup for everyone as far as I know. I met Jeff, Mike, Shon, etc. at last year's Blade Show, but this will be the first "RAT Pack" extRATvaganza.So far the head count is about 20. I guess we're going to stick with papadeux unless someone decides that they want something else.

As far as my blades go. I got done tempering night before last on four blades, so they're going to get their handles this week and I'll bring them with me to Blade and the extRATvaganza They're just simple file knives, but the lines on all of them are very interesting.
 
Where is the best place to get tickets for the show? I saw them on the Blade Show website, but are there other places? Can you pay at the door?
 
Anyone know the latest count on how many of us are getting together (without me going through this whole thread and counting)?
 
As things go, I am still planning on attending both the get together and the show. My wife goes in for Surgery tomorrow, but should be up to handling the kids for the weekend by the time the show rolls around.

Dylan, I may be a +1 if my buddy decides to do the roadtrip with me, not sure yet.

EDIT: Anyone planning on the early bird attendance? Since i am driving down, I will be there fairly early friday....

I am still in. I have booked my room but I have been so busy I have not done anything about getting a ticket. Can you get a ticket there or is it best to purchase before hand. If so where do you get them.

I haven't gotten a ticket either. Last year, I just paid at the door. I can only ever go on Sunday so its not like I'm paying top dollar for all three days.

Well I won't be attending after all. :( :(
My wife went in for minor surgery last week, suspose to be 1.5 hours in the OR, overnight recovery. Turned out to be 4.5 hours in surgery, and 6 days in the hospital, and it looks like it if going to be at least a couple of weeks before she is fully mobile. :(

I hope you guys have a wonderful time, and I guess I will see you all at Blade 2010. :)
