HERE ARE A FEW PICS!
For Starters:
CRKT
Introducing a new Carson design m4 neck knife . . . really small really sweet!
Also introducing a totally new knife that is a variation of the m16 called the m18! It is also a Carson design but with G10 inlays in the aluminum handles instead of holes, blade style similar to Kershaw Boa with lots of belly and some recurve, inlays will be available in red blue and black and will ship in August . . . it was sweet! Also they have a new small folder from Italy that is quite nice, called the Contrail.
Last, for you KFF fans it is coming out with aluminum handles with holes similar to the m16 . . . also very nice
GERBER
The new loveless design hunter was very nice but I was very impressed with the Harsey Air Ranger IIs! It will be offered in a second generation version of the 3" size and they have added a 4" size that includes the LAWKS style secondary lock . . . light as a feather and really tight!
S&W
I never thought I would say something good about them but here goes! If you saw Dexter's post in the What's New section, you already know that they are releasing two new Darrel Ralph designs. The fixed blade is HUGE! It is not bad but the sheath stinks! The real gem is the HRT mg folder!!! It was a really awesome knife for the 30 something price range. I really think this will be a deal-o-the-year!
MICROTECH
The tachyon is set to arrive tomorrow morning but they have introduced a new neck knife that is quite nice. Neck knives are definitely "in" but this one is really nice with skeltonized handles and a leather sheath. (it can be seen on TADs sight)
ONE HAPPY CAMPER with a TACHYON!!!
My cheap camera does NOT do it justice!
BENCHMADE
They are introducing an new leather sheathed, wood handled fixed blade that is a McHenry and Williams collaboration. It is a really nice blade that is going to be in the 100 category. It has a satin finished 154cm blade and wood handles!! Something quite unusual for BM!
Let me say that I asked each manufacturer for permission to make these photos and when I asked BM if I could take photos for Blade Forums they said "I don't guess we can do anything about it or stop you." What is up with that????
GRECO
Nothing new here . . . it was just fun seeing everyone stampede to his table for the 50% off sale!!!
MORE TO COME!
I restrained myself . . . only bought two knives so far!
MAKE THAT FOUR!
