As requested, and I am glad you did. I got to meet and speak to John who is a real nice guy that just happens to make fantastic looking knives. He makes a Lockback Liner-less you have to see.
He also told me that he has allot of pictures for you and he was sorry you could not be here (me too).

Those damascus knives look like the first few Case/Bose patterns.
 
My plan worked, for the most part.
I was able to take the pictures, upload them to Flickr, and then post them here while in the show, but it took longer and burned more battery than I thought it would, and the shots could have been better. Next year I am taking a real camera. It took me just short of 30 minutes just to do posts #13 through #16 :eek:
Also my time there was limited and you really can't take it all in in 5-6 hours. I got to meet allot of people that contribute here regularly, and that alone made it worth going.

Sorry I didn't get to looking for the Scandi type knives thejamppa, just too much to do.

Lrshot, I see Mr. Johnson (who I didn't see this year, did I miss you Kieth?) had some info on the ABS exams for you. I really don't know much about that stuff.

p.s. Ask Lisa at the Case booth if you can take the Stag out to get a better pic of it. Tell her 4ever3 said pretty please with sugar on top
 
That slim trapper with the Damascus blades is a beauty. How much is one of those going to run?

The fine folks at the Case display told me they will be a little higher priced than the original and current collaborations due to the Damascus steel.
So if you missed out on the originals, like me, you get a reprieve.
I hope this means we will see other re-releases of the other styles in the future. Lockback Whittler anyone?
