Blade Show Preview

Andy,

It's amazing to see how quickly you've advanced your knife-making skills in such a short time, not that you were ever a slouch! I'm glad to see you've finally taken some time to make some knives for yourself as well!

Strat,

Follow the link in Andy's signature to his website - it will have a lineup there of all models (except for a new one or two).

I love the knives, but you're killing me! Nice work, absolutly great looking handle combinations. Very glad to see those Nessmuks with the scandi grinds.
Enjoy your knife, I saw that you had to sell some of your own, enjoy Blade Andy!

Hi Tal, thanks for jumping in. I did actually look at the thread and at the FF website, and I guess I'm just not familiar enough with them proportionally to know which is which yet. Some are obvious, the Nessy, the Runt, BLJ, Fighter, etc... but I couldn't find a Woodpecker, or steak knives, etc... and a Hiking Buddy is along the lines of a Bushpik (to my eyes), Ladyfinger/Terrasaur/Arete, and so forth. That's OK it doesn't really matter, it's just when there's a pic like the fourth one down where there are a lot of knives that are very similar yet have slight differences that I get confused. I'll get it eventually, thanks...

There is a lineup and contact 411 thread stickied to the top of the forum here, and that explains the models that aren't brand new. Nobody's even seen the steak knife yet. Except me. Hehe.

I don't need a fighter and have no use for a fighter, but I WANT that fighter in the green with black bolsters! Great job, Andy! They all look unbelievable.

Alan

They're all looking so good, Andy!! I love all the burlap micartas the best for handles. That stuff finishes beautifully!

Two Competition Cutters

This is my best guess at what is on the table. Some of them I'm not sure of though--the spalting on cork plays tricks on my eyes.

Thats a good list Duzzy. I'm making a few notes and corrections.

I'll take the one all the way on the right. Love that color pattern. . :D What booth, by the way?

Andy,
That KPH is beautiful, amazing work overall
wish I was going to blade myself now!

What a ton of eye candy there Andy. If for some reason this one doesn't sell (which I know is a long shot) I will take it.

Does that mean that one or those Hunters isn't going for some reason and needs to be sold to help pay for the trip? 'Cause if so, then maybe I can help with that? :)

The table # is 8DD. Thanks!

Any machetes going to make it?

Yes! 25 machetes!

Yes. I have a neighbor in front of you though. Bolsters don't line up.

Andy, how do you choose which models to take with you? Best sellers or something? I noticed no Bushpiks or more importantly... Bushboots... ;)

I was just wondering if sales at Blade more or less follow your general sales trends, e.g. you sell more Bushfingers than KE Bushies, or Ladyfingers?
