Blade Show Scores 2024 Edition

Mixed emotions on the subject from everyone I think.. I really wanted a pig sword but decided not to go over early, I talked about it with a few people and almost all of them said I should have. I just know it can cause bad blood and not worth losing a customer over.

That said, if I had time I'd exhibitor poach from tables that aren't in my niche' all day long if I could.. LOL - One of my good customers who could not make it asked me to try and get him a Steel Flame exclusive from Hinderer's booth, I can see them from my table and looked over there around 9:45 Friday to see about 30-40 people. Someone later told me they were sold out of them before the doors opened. 🤷‍♂️

He got 2 while hovering over it shoulder to shoulder next to me. One for that guy and one to flip. A dude in the pit was carrying it around and told me he was asking 7k. Told him if he considered that sale he was high so Got the guys # and offered him my k20 and extras for 2500. Need to actually reach out to him. That ninja sword was one of 2 things I wanted to bring home taboot but I got zero right complaining.

He's one of the nicest guys I know, and a fantastic maker...I'm sorry you're so bitter about missing out on something but badmouthing John is pretty low.

Wasn’t going to post about, but since it came up…..yes I’m the one who wound up with the Tanto shiv. Fell in love with it and was just going to let it fade into myth and not say anything about it cause I’m a dick like that. My forum activity isn’t consistent or most of the time important or meaningful
