Ordered a Mouse knife from them. Made the (mildly) special request to get one with the fish logo on the blade, I had heard that they were rare. They checked and said, no problem. Called back the next day for the UPS tracking number (just because I could.) Every time the person I spoke to was friendly and helpful. The knife got here sooner than promised in perfect condition. A great knife from a company that was an absolute pleasure to deal with. If only everything went this smoothly. Hats off to Tim and staff!

I only live about 70 miles away from Blade Tech, and have done ALOT of business with them (including with Tim Wegner "IN PERSON" a few times), but I ended-up ordering a knife sheath from Eric Noeldechen CLEAR over in Ontario, Canada...Mainly because Eric is a GREAT dude to do business with, and answers his e-mail PROMPTLY!...
(Not to mention that Erics' prices and delivery-times are ALOT better than those of Blade Tech!!...

I talked to Blade-Tech on the phone and they said that their e mail has been down. Sh*t happens. Just want you to have both sides of the story.

Has their e-mail been down since June 14th when I made my first attempt? Please note my use of the word "first". Still no response.

I ordered some concealex, chicago screws, eyelets, etc from Blade-tech this week, there were great. Very freindly service, very knowledgable. I wish I remembered the name of the person I talked to,
He was great. I wouldn't hesitate to call again.

The guy's name that helped you was probably Victor. He handles the supply end of the business.

I also have had hit or miss service. They screwed up the first order that I placed with them, but then fixed it without any other problems. So I will do business again with them and see what happens.

PS-Tim and Victor are both great people to talk to in person. Very knowledgeable and willing to give any info that you want.

Blade-Tech does seem to be a little spotty sometimes. I had one order for concealex get screwed up, requiring several long distance phone calls (no 800 number) to clear up. Admittedly, they did seem to be bending over backwards to try to get things right, but it still took, IIRC, about a month for the concealex to arrive.

Right now I'm waiting on another order... which I placed the first week of August, near the end of the week. Called them on the 18th and found out it hadn't been sent out because they didn't have my complete shipping address.

So, who knows when it will get here. One more time and I'm gonna have to try to somehow get in touch with the "higher ups" over there. Admittedly, I'm not one of the major buyers of their stuff, I'm sure. I can't imagine them screwing up a couple of big orders like that; they'd be out of business already.

Incidentally, I've ordered gun holsters from them and had nothing but good experiences.
