I've always considered myself an accumulator and user of knives, rather than a collector. I'll buy knives that appeal to me, without trying to 'complete a set'. I have, over the years, accumulated a fair number of Great Eastern Cutlery knives that are now highly sought after, since GEC is unlikely to make them again any time soon. I bought them new, as they were released, never paying an ebay markup, and have used all of them. Quite a number are clad in ebony, partly because I liked the way it looks and partly because ebony was usually the least expensive option at the time.

Yesterday I measured my 75 frame Case and 307 Buck; this Forum Knife will be larger than both, will definitely be the biggest Stockman in my collection. OH
