The covers/handles on our BF knife kinda look like the Smallpox scars on a gal I knew that worked in the "One for the Road Bar" on Gordon Avenue in Olongapo, Philippines (Subic Bay) in the early 1970s. I only hope our BF knives are as sharp as her tongue.

Update, here's some pics of the knives in the polishing stages.

I, for one, am pleased with the color results.

I just noticed in the 2nd picture it looks like there is slight saw cut texturing to some of the bone ?
