BladeForums 2024 Traditional Knife

Dear Bakery Wizard,
I bring you greetings from the front lines. General Spark sends word that my yearly provision is forthcoming. My haversack billows empty in a strong breeze, but consider these tidings of better days. Tomorrow we break camp and march to Little Round Top. The men are excited for a better view. Glad tidings to you this day, December 18th, year of our Lord twenty and twenty four.
I don't live far from Gettysburg. But I don't think I'd want to go marching down Route 97 to get there.

You are writing up some beautiful work yourself too buddy. I look forward each day to pursuing both of your words of wisdom, (example: your advice to Bakery Wizard). 👍🍻
I appreciate the compliment, but I can’t hold a candle to Meako. If I did, he’d probably say something Aussie like “ouch mate, that hurts!”.

I was wondering the same thing and if they were shipping out starting with the low numbers.

What I can say is that the number I requested was a single digit number, and by pure luck I did place and complete my order within the first minute of the link going live.

I’m nobody special, so if I had to guess, I would say it’s by your order number that’s being processed, not by serial number requested.

It seems logical that Spark is using the first in, first out order fulfillment strategy.

How would he know what numbers to give the second, and subsequent requests for a specific number without inadvertently taking someone else's requested number?
Or say the first order requested something like 420, but they haven't shipped him that knife yet?
Not so cut and dried if you are going to get everyone the number they want, assuming they requested it first.

The earliest order gets the number they want. If an earlier order has taken it, then they get their second choice and so on. Later orders get what is left. That is the only fair method. If there are some he cannot fulfill yet, they get set aside until he can fulfill it.

I kind of doubt that unless I didnt get my number, but I was a pretty early order as well. I havent gotten tracking yet and I chose 69, but I am not sweating it. Honestly if it ships and arrives after christmas that might be easier on the usps route anyway.

I’m sure Spark has some method to the shipping process, again I personally would never want to deal with hundreds of orders to forum members. 😱

Yeah I’d have to guess this is most likely the way it’s going as well.
